R&LHS Railroad Documentary Video Award

The award recognizes outstanding videos--hobbyist/student produced with no budget and professionally produced with a budget--released in the three years 2014 through 2016, that creatively and accurately educate viewers about North America's railroading history. The documentaries must be easy to follow, concise, and deliver a message that is clearly understood.

The winner in each category will receive national recognition through the R&LHS, an award certificate, and $250.

In film, the scope/budget/parties involved have much more influence on the final product than a single photographer and the image. That is the reason for two categories. Members may send suggestions by May 30. Nominations are made by a subcommittee of the R&LHS awards committee.
