Luckin, Golden, Colorado, received the award for<span>\u00a0<\/span><i>20th Century Limited: America\u2019s Most Famous Passenger Train,<\/i><span>\u00a0<\/span>shown on many PBS stations nationwide in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>He has been in video production for 36 years, and for the last 18 years his programs have aired on many PBS stations nationwide. Three of those programs have been nominated for a Regional Emmy. Other productions have garnered 44 national and local video awards.<\/p>\n<p>His new program,<span>\u00a0<\/span><i>Selling Sunshine: The Florida Trains,<\/i><span>\u00a0<\/span>will air nationally in early 2018.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his PBS programs,Mr. Luckin spent six years producing a series of documentaries and short informational programs for the United States Air Force, Air Mobility Command. His program,<span>\u00a0<\/span><i>Packard: An American Classic Car<\/i><span>\u00a0<\/span>(hosted by actor Edward Herrmann), has aired on nearly 150 PBS stations nationwide. In 2011, Luckin completed production of programs: one for Amtrak,<span>\u00a0<\/span><i>Amtrak: The First 40 years, 1971-2011,<\/i><span>\u00a0<\/span>and a a new documentary for The<span>\u00a0<\/span><i>Denver Post<\/i><span>\u00a0<\/span>called<span>\u00a0<\/span><i>Rails To Rodeo.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Before his early retirement from the Coors Brewing Company, Luckin was a producer director for its Corporate Television Department, producing employee training and informational programs.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Return to John E.
