The Quarterly Newsletter 44-3, fall 2024, is at the printer’s. As the cover photo suggests, it contains a centerspread account of the three-nation Final Spike tour of CPKC 4-6-4 steam locomotive No. 2816. The five-page article was written by Railway Age Editor-in Chief Bill Vantuono, with photos taken by him (including during his ride in the engine’s cab) and lineside views by Bishop Taylor of Louisiana Rail Productions.
